Japanese Sea Scallops
Paired with Pinot Grigio
Description:
A light crispy dish that is perfectly paired with a chilled Pinot Grigio
Ingredients:
- Fresh sea scallops – 1 lbs
- 1 cup of Japanese Panko bread crumbs
- 3 tps of Wasabi
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup of Pinot Grigio
- Oil for frying
- half cup chopped Cilantro
Directions:
Rise off fresh scallops. Create the breading mix by combining the wasabi, panko, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Heat up oil in medium frying pan and add quarter cup of Pinot Grigio. Dip in the scallops in the breading then place them in the oil and cook one and a half minutes on each side then remove. Garnish with cilantro and serve
