Appetizer Plate

Paired with Pinot Grigio

Description:

Guests coming over? No need to fret with a few on-hand ingredients in the cupboard and Santa Margherita wine in the fridge.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 14 oz can artichoke hearts
  2. 1/2 lb cream cheese
  3. 1/2 small jar roasted red peppers
  4. 1/2 cup strawberry jam
  5. 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  6. 1/2 cup pistachio or other nuts
  7. 1 small bunch grapes
  8. 1/2 cup assorted deli olives
  1. 1/4 lb pecorino cheese, shaved or sliced thin
  2. 1 14 oz can white beans, drained and rinsed
  3. 1 small tomato, chopped
  4. 1 green onion, chopped
  5. 1 clove garlic, minced
  6. 2 tbs olive oil
  7. assorted crackers

Directions:

mix together the strawberry jam and cayenne pepper in a small decorative bowl

mix together the white beans, green onion, garlic, tomato and olive oil in a small decorative bowl

blend cream cheese and roasted red pepper until smooth. Place in small bowl or other serving dish

arrange all ingredients on a wood cutting board or serving tray with assorted crackers
