Appetizer Plate
Paired with Pinot Grigio
Description:
Guests coming over? No need to fret with a few on-hand ingredients in the cupboard and Santa Margherita wine in the fridge.
Ingredients:
- 1 14 oz can artichoke hearts
- 1/2 lb cream cheese
- 1/2 small jar roasted red peppers
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup pistachio or other nuts
- 1 small bunch grapes
- 1/2 cup assorted deli olives
- 1/4 lb pecorino cheese, shaved or sliced thin
- 1 14 oz can white beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 small tomato, chopped
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tbs olive oil
- assorted crackers
Directions:
mix together the strawberry jam and cayenne pepper in a small decorative bowl
mix together the white beans, green onion, garlic, tomato and olive oil in a small decorative bowl
blend cream cheese and roasted red pepper until smooth. Place in small bowl or other serving dish
arrange all ingredients on a wood cutting board or serving tray with assorted crackers
