    If I had to base my vote only on this video I would have to give it a thumbs down. We were shown a dirty oven and then watched as wine was poured into a pan while it was still on the burner.

Seafood Pasta

Paired with Pinot Grigio

Description:

Linguine topped with sauteed shrimp and seared flounder covered in a Pinot Grigio cream sauce.

Ingredients:

  1. 10 each Shrimp
  2. 2 each Flounder Fillets
  3. 1 package Linguine
  4. 1 1/2 Quarts Pinot Grigio
  5. 1 Quart Heavy Cream
  6. 1/2 Tbsp chopped fine garlic
  7. 2 Tbsp chopped Shallots
  8. 1/2 cup Olive oil
  1. As Needed (room temp.) Butter
  2. As needed Tabasco sauce
  3. As needed Worcestershire sauce
  4. To Taste Salt
  5. To Taste White pepper
  6. To Taste garlic powder
  7. 16 oz. Seasoned Flour
  8. 1/4 cup Chopped Fine Cilantro

Directions:

In a small sauce pan heat up a quart of Pinot Grigio, add shallots and let it reduce half way. Than start to stir in the heavy cream, bring to a simmer and let it reduce as well. Once finished take the pan off heat and start to whisk in the butter until you reach the consistency you want. Season with salt, pepper, Tabasco, and Worcestershire.

Heat up salted water to a boil and Pre heat oven to 350°F - 400°F. Than heat up sauté pan with oil. Take the flounder and coat it with the seasoned flour. Shake off any excess flour, than sear till golden brown. Pop it into the oven for about 7 minutes or until cooked. Than take the sauté pan and deglaze it with the wine. Add the oil, garlic, and shrimp sauté till cooked than set aside. Than add Linguine to the boiling water, cook till al dente. Stain and place in bowl, toss it with some of the cream sauce. Place pasta in any desired dish, add sautéed shrimp and seared flounder on top. Drizzled with sauce and garnished with cilantro.
